Stairs Designs

The stairs is considered as the passageway of the house from the ground floor to the upper level. Houses that are built with two or more storey require the construction of stairs to be able to go from the first floor to the succeeding floors. Different stairs designs can be implemented in the construction of a house which depends on several factors such as the space where it will be constructed, the appearance that is aimed to be achieved, and the materials to be used in constructing the stairs.

If the area where the stairs to be constructed is small, a spiral staircase is perfect for it. A spiral staircase is made with a round frame where the way to go up is done in a spiral manner. This is a space-saving stairs design because it only requires a horizontal space equivalent tot the diameter of the staircase. A spiral staircase is commonly made of metal.

A regular staircase can be constructed in a spacious area since it usually eats up a large space. Concrete staircases made with this design usually require a very large space to be constructed on. To add functionality to the space that this design of stairs has occupied, a storage room can be built in its base. Another innovation of this design is constructing it with drawers in every step of the stairs.

Hanging stairs are commonly used in fire exits. This design of stairs is what you can see in the exterior of most residential or even commercial buildings. Some modern houses use this design of stairs to make their house unique. This is applicable for bachelor pads and not for family houses since this design of stairs is not very child friendly.

Plants inside the Bedroom

Feng Shui promotes the total well-being of every room in the house and since the bedroom is your personal escape inside the home, it is best that good Feng Shui is greatly promoted inside it. Putting plants inside the bedroom has been believed to provide negative Feng Shui because they are said produce carbon dioxide at night when you take a rest. This may be true but in reality plants inside the bedroom promote good Feng Shui since they promote growth and life.

Plants have the ability to produce an ample amount of oxygen during the morning when the sun is out. This process is called as photosynthesis and because of this plants are able to produce oxygen which is more than what they need to survive during the night. Thus, they really are not your competitors with oxygen as you retire to bed during the night.

Therefore, if you want to increase the good Feng Shui in your bedroom you can put plants inside it. Small plants really enhance the appearance of the bedroom aside from promoting good Feng Shui. Flowering plants also look best when placed inside the bedroom. Ferns and larger shrubs can be placed in a corner inside the bedroom
